I think the key to good relationships is staying grateful. When you have something and someone good, don’t go looking for something better. Learn to appreciate what you have. Learn that the best relationships are the ones where you don’t give up on each other so easily. And in moments of doubt and hardship that’s exactly when you need to try harder.
Because good relationships arent something that comes easy but with work and effort. We live in a generation where it’s easy to move on and give up when things get hard. It’s easy to look more closely at someone’s flaws than remember the little reasons you fell for them in the beginning. It’s easy to give up. But instead of doing that try cherishing what you have. Be that story that says—we made it all the way, and that’s because we never gave up on each other, or walked away from what we found even when it was difficult.’ I think relationships more than anything are a choice we have to make every single day, reminding ourselves, just how lucky we really are to be holding someone’s hand who wants us, who chooses us, who fights for us. And when you find that, it’s up to you to do the same thing. That is how relationships last in a generation that throws things and people away a little too easily.
