You spend your whole life waiting on that feeling. The one that books, poetry and music all go on about. They string it between four letters and call it love.
One day without warning it will slam into your chest and knock you onto your back. And once you’ve felt it you’ll be different. Whether you’re too young, or not ready or for some reason entirely unknown to you; you will lose them. And you’ll wonder who you were before this nagging ache lived in your heart.
And instead of waiting for love to return to your life again. You will look for it in everything. You pray that it will shine down on you like it did that very first time.
Once you’ve had it so good, you cannot possibly want a life without it. I think we’re all just afraid that something, that someone so spectacular won’t grace our lives more than once.

And the truth is I’ve never fallen for anyone like I did for you.
